Data/CLK logical signals, I don't think they'd burn the touchpad if reversed, but you never know :).
You can install the Synaptics driver for windows and in control panel -> mouse, you should find the Hot Corner settings for the right click, or maybe even gestures and multitouch settings.
IQ-mobilehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10822248669459224691noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3906305275823625031.post-54973010001164282682013-05-30T23:15:38.994-07:002013-05-30T23:15:38.994-07:00I did this with a T1006 0504. So using a pdf from Synaptics, your guide here, and a little deducing I got it wired up to a PS2 cable and got it right first time around. This pad seems to be P&P because the Pc recognized it right away. I still need the software to get the right click to work. OIr I may just hook external buttons to it since I now know which ones they are. I took a wild ass guess on the DATA and CLK but it paid off. GND and VSS were easy to find. Multimeter really helped after I removed the original plugs from it. Thought I'd share my PS2 Touchpad misadventure. Unfortunately synaptics haven't published the schematics.
Take a look at the second post too: Synaptics Touchpad on my desktop, maybe the pictures will help you.
Word of advice: triple check the connections before powering (plugin in) the device, because I damaged a touchpad when wiring it the wrong way. If the chip heats, remove the power immediately.IQ-mobilehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10822248669459224691noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3906305275823625031.post-3417395189557142582012-04-26T14:35:25.460-07:002012-04-26T14:35:25.460-07:00I'm planning to do the same with a spare touch...I'm planning to do the same with a spare touchpad that I've got, but mine is a t1006 0531 model from an Acer laptop.

Any posibilities that the pin out for both touchpads would be the same?m3martehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06635651607032269619noreply@blogger.com
